I sat on the deck at the edge of the hotel restaurant this morning, savoring a chocolate donut as I watched waves break over the reef and myna birds cocking their heads to look at me. Palm trees swayed in the morning breeze while one of several roosters crowed in the background.
"I'm in Tahiti," I said. "I'm eating a chocolate donut. The New England Patriots just won the Super Bowl. Again. And best of all, you're missing work right now."
"I know something even better than that," Nam said, as I took a sip of papaya juice.
"What's that?"
"You are at work right now."
"Oh yeah..."
